Previously we have seen Woman sued Microsoft for pushing windows 10 update that made her computer unstable. Microsoft ended up paying $10k to the woman. Similar incidence happened recently. Three windows users had decided to file a lawsuit against Microsoft after upgrading to Windows 10 which made their computer unusable and loss of data. According to The Register, the plaintiffs explains that Microsoft didn’t “exercise reasonable care in designing, formulating, and manufacturing the Windows 10 upgrade,” This is what makes Microsoft responsible for all the data loss and hardware issue faced by users. Three people Stephanie Watson, Robert Saiger, and Howard Goldberg who brought the case to court claimed that they had been forced to install Windows 10 because Microsoft has been aggressively showing up notifications to upgrade system in a desktop. Stephanie Watson claimed that Windows 10 was automatically installed without permission and caused data loss.
