The official announcement of Motorola reveals few details about the Moto E5 Play. It has a 5.3-inch screen with an 18:9 ratio, which the company calls Max Vision. The digital reader is located on the back of the manufacturer’s logo. The rear camera has 8-megapixels and promises quick focus. Meanwhile, the front camera has 5 MP and has a flash. The device will still be available in July in Europe for $125, and also in Latin America as well. The GSM Arena has some additional details. The processor is a quad-core 425 Snapdragon which will be clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 308 graphics chip. It has only 1GB of RAM, which is quite common for devices with Android Go. The screen has a resolution of 480×854 pixels, storage is 16GB, expandable by microSD and the battery has only 2100mAh.

There is a Moto E5 Play without Android Go

It is worth remembering that Motorola has already launched a device called Moto E5 Play, but exclusive to the US and with different specifications. Its 5.2-inch screen brings HD resolution (1280 x 720) with the “old” 16:9 aspect ratio. The processor is the same (Snapdragon 425), but it has 2GB of RAM and runs the standard version of Android Oreo, not the Android Go and the battery is bigger, as it has 2800mAh capacity.
